VGF Foundation is a brand operated by Tulasi Sanjay, Hyderabad, India. We run the VGF Super App — rides, deliveries and the captain app — this website, and the $VGF token ecosystem. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, and your choices.
Sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We never see your Google password. If you connect a crypto wallet instead, we see its public address.
Trips. Pickup and drop addresses and coordinates, trip type, times, fare, route and trip history. These are stored on our servers to run your booking, handle support and safety issues, and keep records.
Location. When you open a booking screen, the app asks for location permission to set your pickup point and show captains near you. During a live trip, your location is shared with your assigned captain so they can find you. You can refuse and type your address instead.
Safety. If you use SOS, answer a route-change alert or share a trip link, we keep a record linked to that trip.
Mobile number. If you add one, your captain can call you during a trip. It is shared only with the captain of your active trip, and only while it is active.
Account. Your name, username, the contact details you give at signup, and your vehicle details.
Verification documents. Driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance, permits and photos you upload, so we can check you are eligible to drive before you take trips.
Location while on duty. While you are on duty, the app shares your location — including when it is in the background, which a notification always shows. It stops the moment you switch to Off.
Work records. Trips, earnings, payouts, cancellations and ratings.
Your mobile number. Shared with a customer only during a trip you have accepted, so they can call you.
Device. A random ID created when the app is installed, and a notification token, so we can send trip alerts and keep a captain account signed in on one phone at a time.
Diagnostics. If the app hits an error, it sends us the technical details of that error — not your personal data — so we can fix it.
Payments. Trips are paid in cash; we never handle card or bank details. $VGF is used for rewards. We never hold your crypto or private keys.
The website does not ask you to create an account. Our server keeps standard logs — IP address, pages requested and time — for security and to keep the site running. If you use the website's AI assistant, what you type is processed to answer you. Third-party content on the website, such as ads or embedded services, may set its own cookies under that provider's privacy policy.
$VGF is a token on BNB Smart Chain. Transactions and wallet addresses are recorded on the public blockchain, which we don't control and can't change or delete.
To run bookings and deliveries; match you with nearby captains; calculate fares and explain any change, including route changes you approve; verify captains; handle safety reports, disputes and support; prevent fraud and misuse; send trip notifications; fix errors; and meet legal and accounting duties.
The other person on your trip. A rider and their captain see what the trip needs: pickup and drop, and live location while it is in progress.
Service providers who work for us: mapping and routing (addresses and coordinates, to calculate routes and fares), Google Firebase (to deliver notifications), Google sign-in, and our server hosting.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
While your account is active. When you delete it, your profile, contact details, documents and sign-in sessions are removed within 30 days. Trip and payment records are kept, with your personal details removed, where the law requires accounting records. Safety reports are kept as long as they may be needed to investigate them.
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere, servers that only accept secure traffic, captain documents kept out of the public website and visible only to our verification team, and app data excluded from phone cloud backups. More detail: vgf.foundation/security.html
You can switch location and notification permissions off at any time in your phone's settings; the features that need them will stop working. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Delete your account from Profile → Delete my account, or at vgf.foundation/account-deletion.html.
The app is not meant for children under 18. Captains must be 18 or older.
When we change how we handle data, we update this policy and the date above, and point out important changes in the app.
